Pawns App Review - Is Pawns App Legit?

What Is Pawns app?

Pawns platform used to be called IPRoyal. IPRoyal is still where their clients can go. But if you want to earn you go on pawns app. That is what the site is now called. It has been completely rebranded and changed: name, URL, design...

Pawns app just like Honeygain or PacketStream you pretty much get paid for turning your computer into a proxy server. That sounds fairly complicated but pretty much what you have to do is just click the sign up button, create your account and download the app.
Once you've done that and you've started the app make sure that it runs in the background and while it runs in the background what it will do is it will share parts of your internet bandwidth with paying Pawns app users.

How Does Pawns app Work?

You may wonder why would people want to pay for that, the reason is quite simple as explained in my previous article about Honeygain, if you connect directly to for example google your browser sends a packet to google and google knows your IP address and with that IP address they also are able to for example know your internet provider and your rough location, so they will know the city you are in fairly accurately.

If you were to use a proxy server it's simply a machine in the middle, so your computer would not talk directly to google when you use a proxy server but it would first communicate with the proxy server and the proxy server would then contact google and if the proxy server is in the US google will assume that the request came from the US.

Which means you as a user can run their app, turn your computer into a proxy server whenever you're using it or 24 7 if your computer is anyway running 24 7 and you get paid for other people routing their traffic through your computer. While Honeygain focuses on commercial clients so you as a private citizen will have a hard time to actually use their services to route traffic through other people's computers. Pawns app offer their services also to regular people which brings us to probably the most important question.

Is Pawns app legit or a scam?

At the time of writing this review. Yes, Pawns app is legit.

How much money can you actually make just by having that app on your computer?

Unfortunately, for Pawns app I do not know the average earnings per user. However, from Honeygain their average user earns between 111 and 152 dollars per year just for running the app.

There are a few things that influence how much you can actually earn with services like Pawns app, for example if you're the only user in your country you would get a hundred percent of the demanded traffic that wants to route traffic through your country. However, if there's thousands of other users you will obviously earn less(Such applications are rather well known). The same would apply if there's only a few users in your country but nobody wants to route traffic through your country or using your country as a proxy server, you would also earn less.

There's another huge benefit to Pawns app compared to Honeygain and PacketStream where Honeygain and PacketStream pay you one dollar per 10 gigabyte shared, Pawns app actually pays you two dollar per 10 gigabytes, so you get 20 cents per gigabyte traffic that goes through your internet connection which means they pay you a hundred percent more than PacketStream or Honeygain and the really best thing about Pawns app is that you don't have to choose, if you have a windows computer you can install Pawns app, Honeygain and PacketStream all on the same computer because each of them has separate customers, so separate traffic sources which means different demand for traffic in your country, so you can basically benefit from all three. One of them will pay you more if they have more demand for traffic in your country or less users in your country and so on and the others may pay you less.

The only limitation when it comes to Pawns app at the time of writing this article is that right now their client is only available for windows computers.
Last but not least, another thing that sets Pawns app apart from Honeygain and PacketStream is their minimum payout. With Honeygain your minimum payout is $20, with PacketStream it's five dollars and with IPRoyal it's basically one dollar and you can use paypal or payoneer to pay out the earnings from your Pawns app account.

The bottom line

Overall, Don't be disappointed if your earnings are only a few cents per day. The amount of money that you earn using that software depends on the traffic that gets routed through your computer and obviously the demand for traffic is not the same every day, every time of the day, every week, every month because it varies how many customers are actually actively looking for traffic in your country.
This isn't going to earn you a full-time income. So as long as you're okay with that you can go ahead and sign up for Pawns app. Simply give it a couple of weeks and check how much money you actually earn.
