Idle Empire Review - Is Idle Empire Legit?

What Is Idle Empire?

Idle Empire is a GPT website, GPT stands for get paid to do a task. They've been around since 2015 which in the online world is a long time and the website looks super pro, you can tell they put a lot of effort into the design and the navigation and they have over 500 000 members and a 4.6 rating on Trustpilots.
So if you're wondering are they legit? Yes, they're legit.

How Does Idle Empire Work?

There are a few different ways you can earn points on here:

The first way is you earn by filling out surveys and you'll need to fill out a profile before you can partake in these surveys, they want to know things like your postal code, your date of birth, just basic demographic information, very normal and then you'll be directed to their available surveys. These surveys are from third party websites, they're actually not hosted by Idle Empire itself. The pay and the duration of these surveys can vary quite a bit but what I like is they actually tell you beforehand how much each pays and roughly how long it'll take you, so you can determine whether it's worth your time.

You can also earn by not only surveys but also completing different offers such as installing apps, watching videos, playing games, just small little micro tasks that don't require much time but these pay even less.

Another way to earn points is by referring people to Idle Empire and being an affiliate for them and you'll also earn a 20% commission on any of the surveys or tasks that your referrals complete, not the best way to earn money in my opinion because most people don't follow through on anything and what tends to happen is you'll get a lot of people signing up perhaps but no one does the surveys. They get distracted, they're on to the next thing and that's just how it is. But it is an extra way you could potentially earn.

Finally Idle Empire offers a bonus for between ten dollars and thirty dollars per month to anyone who places in the top three of earners and that's basically it.

Those are the different ways to earn money. The unique thing about Idle Empire is they pay out in so many different ways through Payoneer, all the main cryptocurrencies, lots of different gift cards. I would just browse this, three pages of options.

Well, if we have a look at the surveys. After filling out your profile this gives them an opportunity to see the kind of person you are whether you've got children, your demographics, whereabouts you live. Basically they want to know if you're going to fit the survey, so once you've done that you'll be given different options based on the answers you've given, sometimes you won't get any surveys because no company's asking for your particular demographic or age group to actually fill out anything online. So you'll have to bear that in mind.
You'd need to do sixty eight thousand points to earn $7 and I've seen surveys that pay 6 000 points, let's say that's the norm. 6000 points for a 15 minute survey (It usually takes more than 15 minutes). However, it will take you approximately three hours answering the surveys to reach $7 which you can't because it's there aren't enough tasks to go around.

You can watch videos. Effectively you're going to be watching lots of videos to earn not a great deal of money.

Conclusion

Overall, it's a perfectly fine website, I don't have any complaints about it but the real question you should be asking yourself is should you be spending your time if you have an extra hour or two a day filling out surveys or doing these gpt, these small micro tasks, is it worth your time? I just think no, it probably isn't because you're earning so little about two dollars an hour on average, so maybe four dollars if we're being generous and that's if you could just sit there all day filling out surveys which you can't by the way because it's there aren't enough tasks to go around. But regardless if you have an hour or two a day to fiddle around on your phone, why not use that time to learn some real skills instead and implement those skills, really leverage the internet, so you could be earning fifty dollars or even a hundred dollars plus per hour, not something that's going to pay you a fraction a minimum wage.
I don't think that's just a good use of your time.
